SaltStack Announces SaltConf 2014

SaltConf registration and call for speakers now open

Salt Lake City – October 15, 2013 –  SaltStack, the creators of enterprise software to automate Web scale and cloud building, today announced the launch of  SaltConf, the big SaltStack user conference for customers, partners, developers and community members. SaltStack SaltConf 2014 will be held in Salt Lake City from Jan. 28-30, 2014.

SaltConf registration is now open and early-bird discounts are available through Monday, Nov. 4, 2013. Also, SaltStack is now accepting SaltConf speaking proposals through Oct. 28.

SaltConf and the pre-conference training both have limited space and are expected to sell out. Pre-conference SaltStack training is available to registered SaltConf 2014 attendees for $350, a substantial discount over traditional SaltStack training classes. SaltConf is designed to help attendees automate the datacenter better and faster than ever before by providing an immersive opportunity to learn about the power of the SaltStack platform for remote execution and configuration management.

Some of the best and brightest in cloud building and Web-scale automation will speak and attend this three-day conference. SaltConf content will be delivered by SaltStack core engineers, developers, customers and users. Content will include SaltStack hands-on labs and training, talks delivered by people who excel at building and managing enterprise infrastructure and application stacks using SaltStack software. SaltConf will also offer many opportunities to hack and network with the SaltStack community.

SaltConf pre-conference training will include full-day training sessions in three separate tracks including an introduction to the SaltStack platform, advanced training on using SaltStack for configuration management, and advanced training on using SaltStack for remote execution, cloud orchestration and infrastructure automation.
